What does a fintech branding agency do?

It builds the identity people judge before they trust you with money: logo, type, color, motion, voice, and the system that keeps them consistent across the product, the website and the pitch deck. In fintech branding the brief is specific. The brand has to read as safe, serious and ready for the stage you're at, to the exact person you need to win first.

How is branding for finance different?

The audience is deciding whether to risk money, so every signal gets read as a signal of safety. An investor, a regulator and a first-time user read those signals differently, and the brand has to satisfy all three. For Axi, one identity had to hold across 100+ markets and two regulators. That's a system problem long before it's a logo.

When should we rebrand?

When the company has moved and the brand hasn't. The usual triggers: you're raising and the brand looks a stage behind the story, you're entering a market or an institutional segment that reads different signals, or competitors have raised the bar in your category. Mento rebranded when it grew from a stablecoin platform into FX infrastructure. A rebrand usually brings a new website with it.

Can we rebrand without losing the recognition we've built?

Yes, and often you should. The question is which signals carry recognition and which just look dated. RedStone kept its gemstone symbol and gained a full system around it. Sentient went further and rebuilt from scratch, for reasons explained in breaking the feedback loop. We decide which route fits in the Brand Workshop, before any design starts.

Do you only brand fintech companies?

We brand across modern finance: Fintech, TradFi, DeFi and Web3. That covers regulated brokers like Axi, onchain FX at Mento, oracles at RedStone and security at Quantstamp. Neobank branding and stablecoin branding share one problem: making something new feel as safe as traditional finances.

What do we get at the end?

A brand your team can run without us. That means the identity, guidelines, templates and assets for product, web and campaigns, plus motion and 3D where the brand needs them. How long does a rebrand take, and what does it cost?

Most brand identities take 4 to 8 weeks, from workshop to handoff. Cost depends on scope, from a focused identity to a full system with motion and 3D. You get a fixed number after a short scoping call.
