Design for TradFi

It designs how an institution looks and works to the people who trust it with money: the brand, the interfaces and the website. The work starts from the constraints (suitability, disclosure, audit), because in regulated finance they shape the design before aesthetics do. Axi, an FCA and ASIC regulated broker, got a rebrand, a 150+ page website and a trading platform UI in four months.

It has to pass two readers at once: the prospect deciding whether you're credible, and the compliance officer checking every claim. So risk warnings, regulatory status and disclosures are designed into the page from the first wireframe, instead of being pasted in at the end. Financial services website design is where most institutions look a decade older than they operate. We design and build them in Webflow, usually in six to eight weeks.

In stages, starting with the parts that are simply old. Long-standing clients are the ones most likely to leave over a redesign they never asked for. We map where their muscle memory lives and leave it in place, and redesign the product around it first. The same applies to a rebrand: update the signals that look dated, protect the ones clients rely on.

By putting it where the decision happens. A risk warning at the moment someone confirms a trade gets read. The same warning in a footer never does. Compliance keeps its coverage and the client gets the information when it changes what they do. We know which wording has to stay verbatim under FCA, ASIC and MiCA rules, and what product design can build around it.

Yes, and it's a structural problem more than a visual one. Different markets mean different disclosures, onboarding steps and sometimes different products. We design the design system so those differences are configuration, not separate designs. That's how Axi runs one brand across 100+ markets.
