DeFi lending protocols show you numbers. Silo needed to show you risk. We restructured the entire app so users could actually understand what they're earning, what they're exposed to, and why that matters.

Silo Finance is a DeFi lending protocol that isolates each market into its own vault. If one asset fails, nothing else gets touched. The protocol supports virtually any asset type, from tokenized stocks and real-world assets to LP tokens and derivatives, deployed across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Avalanche, and Sonic.

Protection as Identity

Silo lets you lend and borrow virtually anything onchain. The brand needed to feel open and accessible while communicating trust. We built a visual system around bubbles, each representing an isolated vault, connected yet independent. Simple concept, immediately readable.

Website

Transparent and Isolated Risk

The site explains Silo's model before users ever open the app. How isolated markets work, where yield comes from, why bad debt protection is built into the architecture. Clear sections for lenders, borrowers, and developers, each with their own entry point.

Motion

Product, Explained

DeFi mechanics are hard to explain, especially when introducing something new. Silo V3 changes how lenders are protected during crashes, letting them recover collateral directly instead of taking losses.

We produced an explainer video with voiceover and music that shows how the system works and why this problem still isn't properly solved by current market leaders.

Workshops, personas, full information architecture, ruthless prioritization. One configurable screen replacing duplicated tiles. Consistent vault layout: Position, Yield, Risk, Overview. Two vault types for two user segments, new Portfolio, and Explore page.

Every vault page follows the same layout: Position, Yield, Risk, Overview. One configurable component handles earn, borrow, and leverage without duplicating information. Risk assessment indicator reused across the entire product and website.
